Whimsical pen and ink drawings inspired by my inner thoughts
For me art making is an all encompassing visual exploration of my thoughts.
I draw using animal motifs in whimsical manner, and while doing so I am aware of my appreciation of the contrasting black lines on different types of papers.
In order to be able to fulfill this calling to express these mental images, I put pen to paper so that I, as well as others, can see what I visualize. Sadness and sorrow are too much with us. With my pen I choose to create laughter and joy.
My approach to art is best expressed by Alfred, lord Tennyson in “Ulysses.”
I am a part of all that I have met;
Yet all experience is an arch wherethro’
Gleams that untravell’d world whose margin fades
For ever and for ever when I move.
