I was born in Virginia and attended Longwood University receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education. I taught on the high school level for 8 years and helped write the Georgia State curriculum for Career Education. I then began my career in Real Estate and have been actively selling property for 18 years.
I grew up surrounded by art. My mother is musical and my father is an accomplished artist in both watercolor and oils. Growing up in such an artistic environment had a huge impact on my development and the appreciation of the arts.
I am married to Jerry Fulks, CEO of West Georgia Health System. We have two children. Jamison Fulks Almand lives in Atlanta with her husband, Matt, and our two adorable grandchildren: Wells (2.5) and Mary Clayton (8 months). Dr. Clay Fulks lives in Nashville with his wife, Jenny, while he completes his Orthodontic Residency at Vanderbilt University.
I am thrilled to express emotions through the visual arts. I also enjoy the study of various light reflections, unusual shapes, and intricate shadows. I hope to continue to explore art and grow with inspirations from each new day. I am constantly influenced by the past and present and all the nuisances of the lifelong journey of my passion for the arts.
